You wouldn't want your meat to spoil so why would you let your cape spoil?

• Avoid dragging the animal on the hide to prevent hair loss
• Remove as much meat and fat from the hide as possible
• Fold the hide flesh to flesh (with hair on the outside)
• Keep your hide as cool as possible, as soon as possible.

Measurements needed before skinning (see photo below or call):

A) Tip of nose to back of head

B) Tip of nose to inside corner of eye

C) Tip of nose to base of tail

D) Circumference at base of skull

For life-size mounts:

+ Measure girth at largest point around belly
